Your Best Hotel Choices for Walking and Running
You don't have to stay a five-star hotel to get free access to great
walking and running trails. Give one of these establishments a try on
your next trip.
Doubletree
Hotel Tucson at Reid Park :: Tucson, AZ
The Doubletree is located directly across the street from Reid Park,
which is surrounded by a paved trail that runs around and through the
park. It provides a great 3.5 mile loop. The Park is well-populated,
even in the early mornings, so you will safer among the other walkers,
joggers, and in-line skaters.
Embassy
Suites San Francisco Airport :: South San Francisco, CA
A convenient location for getting into downtown San Francisco or into
the Silicon Valley area, the Embassy Suites is located less than a mile
from San Francisco Bay's Oyster Point Marina. The hotel provides a
walking/running trail route that loops down along the Bay, making
for a scenic fitness program.

Marriott
Courtyard Chicago Downtown / Magnificent Mile :: Chicago, IL
Chicago is a great city for walking and running (at least during
spring, summer, and fall). Whether you prefer to window shop while you
walk or run, or prefer the breezes off of Lake Michigan, you can get it
at the Courtyard. Located among the trendy shops on the Magnificent
Mile and only a few blocks from the lake, the Courtyard provides trail
maps.
Hotel Omni
Mont-Royal :: Montreal, Quebec
The hotel is situated near Quebec's Parc Mont-Royal, and the concierge
can provide you with a trail map of a 5k route through the park.
