McDonald's Launches New Fruit and Walnut Salad

Having become increasingly aware of the nutritional value of their menu items, and increasingly sensitive to the vast buying power of Americans who do want to eat healthy, McDonald's has launched a new Fruit and Walnut Salad.

Made with apple slices, red grapes, and candied walnuts, the salad's nutrition breaks down as:

Total Calories: 310
Fat: 13 grams, of which 2 grams are saturated fat
Carbohydrates: 44 grams, of which 6 grams are fiber
Protein: 5 grams

Try one on your next fast food adventure!

  • Try one today? Ughhh. After getting bombarded with Mickey D's nitwit radio advertising... (somehow those ditzes talking smack and "blaming" it on a "fruit buzz" makes me wanna reguritate my yogurt) and then checking out the nutrition info... I'll go to a convenience store or grocery store, buy a small amount of fruit, a cup of yogurt and avoid the candy-coated buzzzzzzzzzzzz,
