Travel Fit Tip: How's Your New Year's Resolution?

It's been 74 days since New Year's. Have you stuck to your travel fitness, nutrition, and wellness resolution?

Take a moment to do a reality check on your fitness and health goals. Where they realistic? If not, consider readjusting them, or setting interim goals so that you get that sense of satisfaction which will further motivate you.

What's preventing you from reaching your exercise goals? Do you need to do better time planning? Learn how to say no to peer pressure?

Maybe some of these tips will help you reinvigorate your New Year's fitness or diet resolution:
  • Take it slow when exercising. If you haven't been exercising regularly, start with just 15 minutes a day, or even less.
  • Plan your exercise time on your calendar. Block out specific times and schedule reminders for yourself.
  • Get in the habit of a morning workout. This positive activity can set the stage for success throughout the rest of the day.
  • Find a workout buddy.
  • Scan the Internet for cheap, PC-based or PDA-based calorie tracking software. Folks who track their calories are twice as likely to be successful with weight loss as those who don't.
