Regardless of whether you are exercising at home or on the road, finding activities that you like is essential to the success of your fitness program.
Stop worrying about what others are doing or about the latest fad, and start thinking about the activities that you really enjoy. If your're not sure what you like, then experiment! Try anything and everything until you find several activities that fit your definition of fun.
Be creative! Don't immediately discount an activity because it isn't a traditional "gym" or aerobic exercise. There are plenty of things that you can do to get the requisite 30 minutes of exercise a day, without feeling like you're exercising. Just consider some of these diverse activities:
